Warming Embrace LLC was born out of more than just a vision; it was born from lived experience, deep compassion, and a lifelong calling to care for others.

My name is Crystal Biggers, and I am the proud CEO of Warming Embrace LLC. My caregiving journey began long before I ever thought of it as a career. At the age of 10, I found myself in a role many adults would find challenging. Growing up in a home with my brother who has cerebral palsy, I had to step up and care for him while my mother worked. He has always required total care, and I had to learn things most kids my age never imagined, such as how to do NG tube feedings, how to clean and lift him, and how to be patient, strong, and compassionate. At the time, I didn’t understand why I had been placed in this position, but looking back, I now realize it was God's preparation for my purpose. My brother is my biggest blessing. His strength, joy, and positivity taught me everything I needed to know about what true care really looks like.

By the age of 12, I was also caring for my great-grandmother, who had breast cancer. She lived with my grandmother, and when my grandmother went to work, the responsibility of caring for her fell to me. I cooked, bathed her, administered medications, and ensured her comfort. My family recognized me for my bravery and love, and I was even given a certificate at a family event, but the real reward was the love I felt doing it.

After high school, I tried to pursue nursing school but had to withdraw due to health issues during my first pregnancy. I became a young mother and had two children back-to-back, but I never let go of my dream. In 2006, I enrolled in Job Corps and pursued Phlebotomy. Life was not easy some days I had no childcare and had to bring my children to class with me just to avoid being kicked out. I was determined. The staff saw my effort and made arrangements for childcare and transportation so I could graduate, which I did in 2007.

Though I’ve faced many hardships from abusive relationships, health challenges, and financial struggles, I never let go of the call on my life: to care. I’ve worked in many facilities as a PCA, constantly learning and giving my all to my clients. In 2018, I became the full-time caregiver for my beloved grandmother when she was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. She was my everything the woman who helped raise me and my children. Being by her side until her final breath was one of the most painful but most meaningful experiences of my life. She always told people, “That’s my nurse,” and her words inspired me to keep going.

Shortly after her passing, my father, an Army veteran and my rock told me he had stage 4 liver cancer. I cared for him, just as I had cared for my grandmother, and watched his health slowly fade. He chose to spend his final days at home, and I did everything I could to honor that wish. On Mother’s Day 2020, my father took his last breath. That day changed me forever.

In the midst of grief and struggle, a seed was planted.

I realized that caring for others was not just something I did; it was who I am. It’s my calling. It’s my gift. It’s the reason God walked me through every single moment I thought would break me. Warming Embrace LLC is the result of that calling.

Today, at 41 years old, I continue to care for my brother and have made it my mission to provide compassionate, quality care to others in need. Warming Embrace LLC is more than just a homecare business; it’s a ministry of love, dignity, and respect.

Let me bring the warmth, empathy, and dedication I’ve carried all my life into your home. Whether you need help with your loved one’s daily care or simply want someone to be there when you can’t be, I am here—heart first.

From my family to yours, welcome to Warming Embrace.
